From New York to Alameda

I was born and raised in New York City, and it will always hold a strong place in my heart (I still have my New York mobile number — some things I can't give up). I moved to the Bay Area in 2006 and have called Alameda home ever since.

What keeps me here is the small-town feel, the excellent public schools, the quiet tree-lined streets, and the quick access to San Francisco and Oakland. The Bay Area is my home now, and I'm grateful for everything it has given me.

I also foster rescue dogs. My most recent, Rosie, found a terrific forever home, and I'm looking forward to doing it again. And when I want to switch off, there's always a new Kindle find, an episode of Law & Order: SVU, or Game of Thrones.
